What is the Read Share Library (RSL)?

Since our amazing school is growing and has limited space, we don't have a central library. The RSL was started by our PTO and begins with donations of books or magazines that your family no longer needs. Families can share books by donating them to the RSL, where the books will be stamped and offered to other scholars through their classrooms. Scholars can take books home to read and keep OR they can return them to a RSL deposit box for another scholar to enjoy. There is no library card, nothing to sign, no records kept or late fees, just simple sharing. During Covid-19, all books will be isolated for a period of time to prevent exposure.

How can I donate?

We will have donation times through out the year. Donation drives will be advertised during announcements and online at https://www.facebook.com/groups/uttua/. Deposit boxes will be available at morning drop off on designated dates. If you have a larger donation, please contact the PTO at UATPTO@gmail.com to arrange a drop off.

What can I donate?

Please make sure books are magazines are in reasonably good condition and K-12 appropriate. If a book is deemed inappropriate for some reason, it will be donated to another organization.

When is the next donation drive time?

May 17-21, 2021 during morning drop off at the upper and lower school. Books will be isolated before changing hands to prevent spread of Covid-19.
